Request London versus Honest London

We’re often asked what’s the difference between our two agencies Request London and Honest London. The answer? Everything.

Here’s a quick run down of what each agency offers and you can decide which one is potentially right for you and your needs.

Honest London

Honest London is a reputation management agency which services both celebrities and brands. As of today (08/02/21), our clients are 80% celebrities and 20% brands, so you can see that our specialism is celebrities across both agencies.

What is reputation management? This offering is to keep our celebrity members out of trouble publicly, we offer this through our memberships which includes complete consultation, social media, digital marketing, strategy, PR and crisis management. Essentially a 360 package to keep your reputation in a positive light.

We’re marketing people, we’ve done marketing for donkeys years with b2b and b2c brands along with celebrities. We’re incredibly confident when it comes to making your image positive in public, our biggest boast is that 90% of our clients are through recommendation and word of mouth.

We have dealt with huge crisis scenarios, many that other consultancies/agents turned down. We successfully fixed every single image... So far. We deal with people who are famously disliked by many and work with them month to month to shine them in their best light. We won’t turn down anyone who has a bad public image, we’d be crap at our job if we did.

We are asked if we’re embarrassed by some of the members we’ve accepted and the answer will always be no. First of all, we’re 100% discreet so no one knows who we work with. Secondly, if the person who approaches us is polite, nice and just friendly in our conversations - we don’t judge their public persona. We take everyone at face value and trust our instinct on who is a good person.

Our most popular offering is actually our texting consultancy, which is exactly what you think it is. The opportunity for both brands and celebrities to text us for advice on anything digital marketing, PR, social media, crisis and strategy. It’s much cheaper than our memberships but it allows access to the same amazing team.

Request London

Request London is simply a celebrity booking agency. We created request simply down to it being ridiculous that we didn’t offer it previously. We have a tonne of experience in celebrity management/bookings/PR but never considered to include it in our Honest offerings even though brands, broadcasters etc would reach out daily asking who is on our books.

One of the biggest selling points of Honest London is how discreet it is, no one knows you’re a client of Honest London so we just wrote off ever offering a celebrity booking area where photos are usually needed.

We asked our Honest members if they’d be interested in hearing any opportunities that come in to which all replied yes, so it was a no brainer. We created Request London, a completely different website/brand to simply organise celebrity bookings.

Issue one, Honest members are private so we couldn’t use photos of them. Any quick search of a talent booking site shows god awful headshots and founders pretending to be famous/friends with their clients. This so isn’t us.

As celebrities began to reach out to join, we still offered the option to stay private or be featured. It was surprising how many opted to stick with private - 80% of our Request clients are not on the website so please ask us if you have someone in mind, we either have them or highly likely have access.

We like to think (like every other agent) that we do it differently here, especially when it comes to social media collaborations between one of our clients and a brand. We’re marketing people, we know the pressure marketing managers are under to make sure there’s a good ROI with these flamboyant plans of using an influencer/celebrity and not just impressions. We work with the brand usually on long term collaborations to put together a strategy we believe will produce the best results, if a post ends up doing rubbish - we fix it (no extra charges) by producing further content and ideas.

We would never agree with a brand that our client will work with them without any research, we would only allow our clients to work with brands who benefit them. Their reputation is key and so is the brands.
